What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Event Data

When events are completed using our software, personal details are filled out in those events. These events are stored in databases which are hosted on client servers. Sometimes Woodstar Software will need these databases for testing purposes and for the development of new features. In this case, all identifying information is washed from the database before it leaves the client server, ensuring Woodstar Software is never in possession of your personal data. The data that remains is generic and individuals are shown only as numbers.

Media

Images, videos and sound recordings may be recorded as part of the event process. These are always removed from the database before it leaves the client server.

Cookies

If your browser accepts cookies then information you enter on this website will be saved if you accept it to be. This may include your name, email address and any other contact information you enter.

Who we share your data with

Woodstar Software will never share your contact information with a third party.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a request for contact, the request and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have made a contact request on this website you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
